The stunning beauty of Bulgaria’s Black Sea Coast belies the often inexplicably low property prices across the region. Varna is the biggest of Bulgaria’s coastal cities and has a notably cosmopolitan atmosphere that separates it from the much of the country beyond. A mecca for holiday home hunters and a magnet for sun-seekers from the mid-spring to late-autumn, investment opportunities in and around Varna are not to be overlooked. Both short and long-term rental yields are reasonably attractive across Bulgaria’s Black Sea Coast – highs of 7 per cent are not uncommon. In addition, significant investment in the local infrastructure for the benefit of tourists has led to an ongoing swell in visitor volumes every year.
