Overlooking the sea, this imposing building dominates the sea front at Diamante. One of the oldest buildings in a beautiful seaside town, this three storey palazzo is currently under renovation. The external works will be completed in 2016. With two sides of the building already complete it’s not hard to imagine how beautiful this building will be. With many of the original features restored this is a great opportunity to own a real piece of Italian history. 

On the first floor we have a 1 bed apartment for sale which requires remodelling. Diamante is famous in the area for its murals and peperoncino (chili pepper) festival. A town of 4000 people, the resort swells to a busy seaside town during the summer. The main towns are (from north to south): Praia a mare, Scalea, Diamante, Belvedere Marittimo, Cetraro, Paola and Amantea. The entire coastline has a stunning backdrop of mountain ranges which form the national parks in this part of Calabria (Pollino and Sila). 

The entire area has very little industry and the air is clean and pollution free and the people of Calabria live to a grand old age (one of the best in Europe). The other advantage of being on the west coast is the fantastic sunsets over the sea.
