Often referred to as something of a more discerning traveller's Majorca, the appeal of Menorca among investors has been generally strong and consistent for years. A small island with heavy demand for short and long-term holiday lets each and every year, considering the chances of Menorca the island's average property prices are generously low. Making any serious money from buy-to-let investments all comes down to being in the right spot at the right time – the coastal tourism hot-spots for example making the most obvious choices. Like most of Spain, things are heading in the right direction in Menorca but still aren't close to rivaling the property price boom which peaked in 2008.
