Literally translated as "Lands of the Loire River", Pays de la Loire was an artificial created department in recent years to highlight the major city of Nantes. But with the department' range of art, casinos, beaches, golf courses and quiet countryside, there is nothing fake about its appeal to both tourists and property buyers. Known to most as the Loire Valley, an incredible stretch of the Atlantic coastline makes thuis the perfect place to pull in huge domestic and international crowds every year; it's little wonder many towns and cities of Pays de la Loire weathered the economic downturn in France better than others. Boasting everything from brilliant beaches to opulent old town centres, it's a rich tapestry of opportunities for both exploration and investment. France as a whole isn't well known for returning thrilling rent yields in general, but there are always good exceptions to be found.
