Marrakech is the kind of city that just doesn’t seem to know how to stop growing and developing. Just when you think the tourist and economic capital of Morocco has peaked, it beats even the most optimistic of analysts’ projections. As has been the case for a long time, apartment values are climbing at a much faster rate than houses and villas. Rent yields are most attractive of all for short-term holiday lets, although there are strong opportunities for longer-term lets in the city’s business districts. The number of hotel developments and resorts, meanwhile, is rocketing in response to demand from buyers, which includes celebrities such as Nicole Kidman and Giorgio Armani.
