The House

The house is arranged on two main floors, besides the basement and the attic. It is in good general condition and has retained many of the 1920s details but internal refurbish is needed. The entrance opens onto a small hall with access to three large rooms including the kitchen. There is a toilet at this floor. The beautiful Moltrasio stone staircase, which connects all the floors of the house, leads to the first floor taht offers three large bedrooms and a bathroom. The staircase is going up to the attic floor, high enough to change into a living area and large enough to have three extra bedrooms . In the basement there is a garage and two rooms for cellar and laundry use. The windows and balconies overlook the village and enjoy the mountain views in the background.

The garden

The garden is not large and has low maintenance , it is about 200 square meters; The largest consistency is developed on one side of the house and it consists of a beautiful flat lawn and very enjoyable.

The location

The house is placed at the entrance of the historic center of Schignano, on the main street of the village. All amenities are within reach and within walking distance. Schignano has an altitude of 700 mt, it is a quiet village but it is inhabited all year by residents. It is very well organized and offers many services. It is a 10-minute drive from the center of Argegno, the first village on the shores of Lake Como.
