Property Description ID:8409002

Prestige property for sale in Salento, typical examples of rural dry stone architecture of the southern Salento area brought back to their former glory. The property consists in two independent villas, close each other but with necessary privacy. Homes are designed to carry out a number of outdoor activities: cook, eat, relax, enjoy and receive. At the same time, the insides are perfect examples of contemporary architecture, the furnishings are at a minimum and are integrated into the buildings apart from unique furnishing accessories.
The first villa, dedicated to the god of fortune, consists in three bedrooms (two of them with independent access from outside), two bathrooms with wide showers, a living room with masonry sofas (which can be used as two additional beds), kitchen with dining room. Outside there is wide patio with dining area, external kitchen and barbecue. The living space is of 90 square meter while the patio measure about 40 square meters. The villa comes with air conditioners (heating and cooling system).
The second villa comes from two historic structures once used as a temporary shelter for local farmers. The building is, in fact, composed by two constructions of different type and coming from different periods, adjacent but originally not communicating.
The aim of the architect was the preservation of the original, historically significant appearance of the building so the ruins have been restored, strengthened, rebuilt and
connected to a few passages. While the interior is cool, minimal and modern, the rustic exterior appears to salute the architectural history of rural Italy. A covered veranda within the enclosed courtyard provides inhabitants with an open air shelter from the hot mediterranean climate. This second villa consists in a wide living room with masonry sofas and a big bed (sleeps 4 max), dining room, a bathroom with a wide shower and wardrobe, kitchen, storeroom. Outside there is a veranda with dining area, external kitchen and barbecue.
Villas have electricity mains, water and gas supplies and both are totally submerged into the greenery of apulian countryside (10179 square meters) with lots of olive trees, almond trees and mediterranean maquis. Planning permission for a 4x12 swimming pool requested. The property is a perl in extreme Salento area and it can be considered as a sound investment which guarantee an extraordinary return if rented.
