La Murada is typical Spanish working Village, its surrounded by lemon trees, orange groves, olive and fig trees, it is very very friendly, it is a very safe enviroment and the locals make you feel very welcome, there are bars, cafes, a local doctors, a pharmacy, a couple of banks, 3 supermarkets, local shops, newspaper shop, bakerys, gift shops there is also a weekly sunday street market to grab a bargain, we also have a local church and a couple of fiestas a year, There are other local Fiesta within walking distance, free paella and music also a great parade, as you walk with the parade you can get free beer, lemonade, water and coke to quench your thirst this is off the truck that follows the parade, be prepared to get wet as you pass the locals they are on standby with there hose pipes waiting for you, its great fun.
