The south end of the Costa Blanca is for all intents and purposes a purpose-built region of wall-to-wall tourist hotspots and sun-seeking holidaymakers. Not that there isn’t a far more civilized and low-key side to the area a little further inland, but when an investor sets his or her sights on the Costa Blanca, it’s safe to say they have holiday lets and sales on their minds. Hundreds of thousands of vacationers swarm resorts like Guardamar, Playa Flamenca and Torrevieja each year and things don’t tend to slow down, even when the weather’s not at its best. The presence of thousands of holiday apartments up and down the coast can make it difficult to strike it big with any kind of everyday resale, but demand for short-lets remains high enough to keep property owners in business pretty much all year-round.
