Occupying a prime plot on Turkey's northern coast, the Bodrum Peninsular is home to more beautiful bay and idyllic sun-kissed retreats than a dozen comparable regions. It's therefore unsurprising that short-term holiday rental properties and expat resale properties are both in extremely high demand for much of the year throughout Bodrum. Turkey's housing market has in general been returning to strength since bottoming out a little in 2013, though average property prices remain appealingly low. In terms of rent yields, things vary quite enormously from one region to the next, though tend on average to hover around the 5 per cent to 6 per cent mark.
